My name is Mike Vitale and I'm the owner of American School of Dealing. I'd like to introduce myself and my school to you and I hope that my website answers all the questions you may have.

In 1991, very much like you today, I was contemplating to become a casino dealer. I had heard that casino dealers were making great money with benefits and retirement packages such as the 401k programs.

I had also heard that there were plenty of positions available and that casinos were searching high and low for Blackjack Dealers, Craps Dealers, and Roulette Dealers. My only problem was I didn't know which dealer school to choose. There were quite a few to choose from as there are today and their courses and pricing were vastly different from dealing school to dealing school very much like they are today as well.

Many were inexpensive, however; those that were cheap also seemed to have cheaper quality equipment, bad locations that didn't seem safe and their instructors seemed to be teaching since they were burnt out on the business and didn't know what else to do but teach.

Other dealing schools were very nice, with what looked like casino quality equipment and had very safe and convenient locations however; they were charging nearly 10x what the other shady looking dealing schools were charging.

Until 2005, I'm afraid that was how the industry continued to be. So, when I had decided to open a dealing school of my own, I had also decided that I could offer the best of both worlds. I felt as though with some effort on my part, that I could offer some of the best casino quality equipment and also have a location that was safe for you to visit and that I was proud of.

So here we are today, the only Las Vegas Dealing School with two locations to choose from. ASD offers classes in Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Mini-Baccarat, Pai-Gow Poker and more. We are a "learn-at-your-own-pace" facility which means on a daily basis; you can choose what time you will attend classes and when you will leave. We only hope that you will spend at least 15 hours per week and if possible, we encourage you to spend as much time as you can towards your education.
